Visual Novel.What is a Visual novel?Novel,a bunch of text that tell a story with a complex conflicts (some of them) and less of picture (Some of them).Visual.something related with our sight such a color or a picture.
So Visual Novel means a story that we are able to see,not only to be read but also to be seen.(~_~)
Have you read a novel with reader interactions?I mean a novel which the ending and the plot are depend on reader choices?For example, in the middle of the story,a reader is offered by some choice that influence the next events,then reader choose one of them and open the page that related with the choice or page where the reader's choice happened.
If you have read that kind of novel,this visual novel also has similar characteristic with the novel above,but with a lot of pictures even sound and music.
Now about Ren'py.Ren'Py is a visual novel engine that helps you use words, images, and sounds to tell stories with the computer. These can be both visual novels and life simulation games. The easy to learn script language allows you to efficiently write large visual novels, while its Python scripting is enough for complex simulation games.
Ren'Py is open source and free for commercial use. It supports Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Android.
